8/31/15 is different for everyone.
For me, it's a breaking point; it means leaving the 9-5 lifestyle I've lived until now and moving to Italy. It means no longer accepting the status quo, the comfortable, the unfulfilling, and--ultimately--the meaningless existence I've had until now.
For you, it's something totally different.
So why not 4/21/14 instead of 8/31/15?
Because I've got some things to care of over here first--like getting rid of college debt, learning how to run my own life, and learning how to spend less than I make. 8/31/15 gives me a cushion to save some money, learn some skills, and settle things here.
Still, I'm a firm believer that if you wait until you're ready to do something, you'll never do it and so I've set a hard deadline for when I have to be ready to go; anything that I haven't learned by 8/31/15, I'll just have to pick up on the road.
So, what's your 8/31/15?
